Errata Sheets in Colorado are governed statutorily by Colorado’s Rules of Civil Procedure, Rule 30(e). Colo. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 30(e) (West 2017). This rule requires that the transcript be submitted to a deponent if either the deponent or a party requests this before the end of the deposition. Id. If requested, the deposition officer should notify the deponent when the transcript is available. Id. The deponent will then have 35 days from the date of notification to review the transcript and make changes to it. Id. Changes can be made to the transcript in form or substance, and the deponent must sign a statement with the changes and reasons for the changes and send the statement to the deposition officer. Id.
